The Anti-Trafficking Network (ATN) represents a global alliance of diverse organizations dedicated to combating human trafficking. Its central administrative hub is situated in Trinidad and Tobago. The network's mission, purpose, and objectives are as follows:
Mission: ATN is committed to eradicating human trafficking through a unified and collaborative effort that transcends borders, cultures, and sectors. We strive to protect the rights and dignity of victims, prevent the exploitation of vulnerable individuals, and promote a world free from the scourge of trafficking.
Purpose: The primary purpose of ATN is to facilitate coordinated actions and initiatives aimed at addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by human trafficking. Our purpose is to foster cooperation among anti-trafficking organizations worldwide, enabling them to share expertise, resources, and knowledge, ultimately amplifying the impact of their collective efforts.
Objectives:
  1. Victim-Centric Support: ATN is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to trafficking survivors, ensuring their physical and psychological well-being, and assisting in their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
  2. Prevention and Awareness: We aim to raise awareness and promote education about human trafficking, empowering communities to recognize the signs of exploitation and take preventive actions.
  3. Advocacy and Policy Development: ATN actively engages in advocacy efforts to influence policies at local, national, and international levels. We work to strengthen anti-trafficking legislation and enforcement, ensuring traffickers are brought to justice.
